Where Does the Time Go?

Stop him before he grows again!!
A couple days ago, my wife gave birth to our baby Benjamin. I blinked and he graduated from college.
OK, it's not quite that bad, but in a few minutes it will be. How can he be growing up so quickly?!

We only just had you, Ben! Slow down! Let me enjoy your littleness before it's gone!!

You get it now, don't you. It's scary as hell how fast your life flies by once you have a kid.

It gets faster, as they get older. I'm still not finished doing the things I wanted to do, when I was a kid, and now, my oldest is looking at colleges. If I only knew then, what I know now. If I only knew now, what I will know in 20 years. Thanks God for Eternity!

The following exchange occurred between my wife and I in Instant Message today:

[15:16] Her: :(
[15:16] Her: he is going to be walking soon
[15:17] Her: he just managed to take a step by himself holding on to my leg with one hand and the couch with the other...
[15:17] Him: Oh my gosh. :(
[15:18] Him: Spank him!!!!
[15:18] Her: gotta feed him
[15:18] Him: No!
[15:18] Her: give me a few min
[15:18] Him: He is getting too strong! Don't feed him anymore!!!!

You have one ADORABLE little boy!! I can imagine that it is highly terrifying to have your little mini-me growing up in the blink of an eye.

I am not a parent, but I have seen the children of friends literally shooting up like weeds!

All I can say is (and this is something we should all do) take lots and lots and lots of pictures - you wont easily forget the little bundle of poop you have, but it will immortalize those moments that seem to be racing by.

And after you have taken those pictures, can you please post them so we can "ooh" and "ahh" over your handsome fella?!
